In a previous post, where I discussed a recent WLOX series on homes that were bought and sold where the owners had no idea that they were previously meth labs, I showed you where homeowners were living in highly contaminated environments as a result and seemingly no way out.

It seems that one homeowner, who had 130 times the methamphetamine contamination limits, has found some relief in restoration. Action Restoration, who services most of the region, with offices in Texas, Louisiana, Texas, and Florida services homes with cleanup methods indicative of a military biohazard cleanup. While the cost is not cheap, at roughly $4 a square foot, it is worth it for your family’s health, said Daisy Jackson, the homeowner with such severe levels. At least one more Mississippi Gulf Coast resident can sleep a little better tonight.

I urge you to contact people, tell them about this, because it could effect someone you know, or even your next ome purchase. Currently, there is a House bill on meth disclosure and a Senate bill on meth disclosure as it deals with meth disclosure. Tell your family, tell your friends, tell your dog - anyone who will listen. This is a serious problem and needs to be addressed. Your voice does count and getting the word out could help others, possibly even someone you know, from falling victim to the same issue!
